After running the Andy OS installer and declining all offers, it appears to install a program called ‘Updater.exe’ via a false ‘GoogleUpdate.exe’, before setting it to run at startup. According to BleepingComputer’s Lawrence Abrams, GoogleUpdate.exe has a description of “AndyOS Update’ and is code signed by the company, showing that the company either created the file or intentionally signed it. The file’s signature also belongs to Andy Inc., making it likely the company is aware of the process....

The original ruling found Qualcomm guilty of anti-competitive practices. The EU Commission asked the company for information on the matter, but was not given it. In response, the charge was made and the fine set in place. Qualcomm appealed, but lost today. The company was accused of attempting to squeeze British smartphone software company Icera out of the market. Europe’s General Court in Luxembourg was asked to suspend the fine and the ruling, but instead upheld the decision....

Announced today, ServiceNow says the decision furthers its partnership with Microsoft. In its announcement, the company says Azure is now “part of its preferred cloud platform for certain highly regulated industries.” Azure customers in Australia as well as Azure Government will be able to access ServiceNow first.
