At Build 2020 today, Microsoft made some big announcements regarding Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) 2. Leading the changes, Microsoft revealed hardware acceleration for WSL. Linux tools can now tap into GPUs on Windows PCs to allow the hardware acceleration when developing apps. A former spy chief has said Canada should follow the lead of the US and ban Huawei from supplying hardware to Canadian 5G networks. Richard Fadden, a former head of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service said the risk of working with Huawei is too great.
