Of course, Microsoft is now winding down releases ahead of the Creators Update....

Microsoft is already testing the new Quick Access feature in Windows 11 through preview build 22557. Quick Access is already a fundamental part of the File Explorer experience and allows more efficient navigation when looking for important files. While the tool previously only had support for folders on Windows 11, from build 22557 it also supports individual files. So, if you have a specific file you want to keep for easy access, you can now pin it to the Quick Access without needing a parent folder....

It seems Microsoft has not decided to ditch the idea of resurrecting widgets from the days of Windows Vista, and they will return on the full Windows 11 build. The widgets are similar to the Floating Gadgets Microsoft used on its poorly-received Windows Vista. In the early ISO build, the only widget is Microsoft’s recently launched News/Weather pop-out, which is already available on Windows 10. It was thought the company would develop more widgets and also ask developers to create third-party options....

Specifically, the program is failing after a few seconds when Quick and Full scans being initiated. Of course, this is only enough time for a small number of files to be scanned. Users have reported the problem on Reddit and on Microsoft’s own support forums. The scanning bug seems to be affecting Windows Defender version 4.18.1908.7, which was released earlier this week.
