The Windows 10 on ARM which will come preinstalled on the NovaGo is the stripped down Windows 10 S editon. Like on the x86-versions of the Windows 10, an update to Windows 10 Pro will be provided. Found by the security firm Wiz Research, the ExtraReplica flaw in Azure PostgreSQL is a database vulnerability. In an advisory published this week, the team says the bug could leave to exploit on Microsoft Azure cloud services. “This vulnerability allows unauthorized read access to other customers’ PostgreSQL databases, bypassing tenant isolation. If exploited, a malicious actor could have replicated and gained read access to Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server customer databases....

Russinovich is currently the CTO of Azure, but he was previously known as the co-founder of Sysinternals, where he published a variety of admin and diagnostic tools from 1996 until his company was acquired in 2006. If a user falls for the ploy and installs the false app, the Hermit spyware installs and starts stealing data....
It has been a tough month for Google Chrome, with two vulnerabilities already spotted in the wild earlier in September. With these two latest flaws, the number of zero days found on Chrome this year has reached 12. The fix for these vulnerabilities is part of a wider security patch – Chrome 94.0.4606.71 – which is available on the stable channel and tackles four security issues in total. “Google is aware the exploits for CVE-2021-37975 and CVE-2021-37976 exist in the wild,” the company confirms....

Filed in 2017 but published yesterday, it describes a mechanism that lets users quickly switch straps, just like the Apple watch. A clasp mechanism uses magnets and a quick release slider to quick snap accessories on and off. This should make replacements easy without the watch falling off your wrist randomly.
