If you own a Surface Laptop 2, you can still use your device but will no longer receive updates the hardware. The move is in line with Microsoft’s usual Surface support cycle. In a blog post, Microsoft explains how it uses a “two-hone immersion cooling” method by dipping servers into a liquid that does not damage electronics. The liquid carries heat away from components and then boils. By using a cooled condenser lid on top of the tank, the boiling water turns to vapor before changing back to liquid and being redistributed. Microsoft and Princeton argued the termination of the program harmed so-called DREAMer immigrants and education institutions that rely on their contributions. In a win for Microsoft, students, and Princeton, the federal court this week agreed that the termination of DACA was wrong. As such, the judge said the program should be fully restored, although the implementation of the ruling is delayed for 90 days.
