Researchers warn that cybercriminals use MosaicLoader to gain access to your PC. Other than enabling cybercriminals to steal your passwords and install miners of cryptocurrency on your PC, MosaicLoader can be used to infect your PC with malware. Just like Facebook targets you with ads based on your browsing history, other apps deliver ads that you are likely to be interested in. The unfortunate part here is that through these ads, malware can target your Windows....

Part of the problem here is that Powershell Windows Toolbox may seem like a real Microsoft app to some users. After all, it has both Windows and Powershell in its name, two Microsoft services. It seems that is part of the trick as the app is infecting systems. It was available on GitHub to put the Google Play Store on Windows 11, taking advantage of the platform’s Windows Subsystem for Android feature....

Spotify intentionally built restrictions into its mobile app, forcing users to shuffle play songs and only allowing a limited amount of skips. Some users felt this was unfair, considering they listen to ads either way, and began to deliver cracked apps. The Android apps deliver some of the premium features, including ad-free listening, unlimited track skipping, and high-quality audio. Since launching voice recording messaging in 2013, little has changes with the system. Users press a button speak, and then release the button to send. Easy, yes, but also potentially hugely frustrating. Pressing the button was annoying sometimes because fingers slip. The message would send, or you are stopped in mid-speech. It is not a major problem, but a minor gripe that I am sure millions share with me. Under a new system, WhatsApp will ow display a sliding interface when the record button is pressed....
