According to a Microsoft blog post, the integration will allow customers to access more edge computing solutions. According to HTNovo, Microsoft has put CCleaner.com on their blacklist of domains on the company’s Support forum. It is worth noting that this does not mean Windows users are banned from using CCleaner. Indeed, they can find and download the registry cleaner whenever they want. The two have created a “ledger agnostic blockchain capability that supports a multi-layer strategy”. During Microsoft’s annual shareholders’ meeting this week (via Business Insider), the CEO was asked directly how Microsoft can speak to young users through LinkedIn. To help avoid update issues caused by hardware partners, Microsoft is now publishing a document with dates for driver releases. Partners will have to release driver updates within these dates to gain Microsoft’s approval. However, Microsoft is offering paths to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for free. This is not available to anyone, and indeed the company wants Windows 10 S to be a success without the need for Pro. However, while students and educators might want a lighter OS, some other may need full functionality. For example, users with assistive technologies on their PCs may need classic Win32 apps. With that in mind, Microsoft has today announced it will let assistive tech users upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for free....

A post on a ResetEra thread highlights a recent survey Microsoft sent to a subset of Xbox users. It is asking them how they would feel about a new tier of Game Pass that would be more affordable and have ads. This new subscription level would cost $3 per month and offer access to the Game Pass library. All first-party Microsoft games would also be included, which means games like Call of Duty when the company’s $69bn acquisition of Activision Blizzard goes through....
