Now, the company has confirmed that the Creators Update for Windows 10 Mobile and for other versions will come after the desktop release. In a short statement to Softpedia, Microsoft has confirmed that “the initial update will be for desktop, but other versions will be available thereafter.” However, the wait for the Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update might not be very significant. The last time Microsoft released a major update, it rolled it out to PCs first, then to Windows 10 Mobile. Back in the summer of 2016, Microsoft started rolling out the Anniversary Update to Windows 10 Mobile two weeks after releasing it to PC. Work on the Creators Update is expected to be finalized as soon as this month, with Insiders obviously getting the RTM (Release To Manufacturing) build first. Retail users should get the Creators Update in April.

Other expected features include the ability to lock your phone while still using Continuum for Phones, WiFi improvements, Edge improvements, and much more. In addition, Microsoft confirmed in February that it will release Windows 10 Mobile updates beyond the launch of the Creators Update.
